They say that things always happen in threes, so here is Background #3 called "Blur Weave". It continues the theme of starting with a black background and using the spray can with your choice of colours. So, let's begin and see what you think of this one.

What You Will Need to Start
...PSP 6 or 7 (this was done in 6)...
Visit JASC to download a free trial
...VM Filter - Toolbox and Natural that you can download here...
... Simple -4 Way Average that you can download here...

This is Easy, Simple and fast.

Open a new image 150 by 150 in black, 16mil colours. Click on white and any other colour of your choice but for this demo I chose white and the purple shade #7E3D7F. This will make the background you see here. Click on the airbrush tool and use these settings.

Airbrush a couple of quick shots of white and purple. Here is what mine looked like.

Go to effects - Filters - VM Toolbox and choose "square blur". When the window opens just accept the defaults and click to apply.

Go to effects - Filters - VM Toolbox and choose "zoom blur". When the window opens just accept the defaults and click to apply.

Go to effects - Filters - VM Natural and choose "cross weave". When the window opens just accept the defaults and click to apply.

The last step is to go to Effects - Filters - Simple - Four Way Average. Click on the image below to see a full page view of the background on this page.

I have displayed below a few more samples for you to see.
The next one was done using red and green on black and the second using red only.

This one was done using the white spray on separate layer first then applying a gold bladepro shimmer. Then I added another layer and sprayed white and applied a blue bladepro shimmer. Then I merged all three layers and filtered away from there.

These last two were done using images. The first is a picture of me and the second is the FBN Logo.
